Shush is a mobile finance app designed for company owners who want a clearer, more human understanding of their company’s financial health. Instead of complex dashboards, Shush focuses on delivering simple, relevant insights that support better day-to-day decision-making.
Based on experiences and conversations with CEOs, we identified a common problem: while financial data is available, it is often difficult to interpret and rarely presented in a personal, easy-to-understand way.
Shush was created to address this by automatically analyzing a company’s finances through a direct connection to the business bank account and delivering one actionable financial insight per day. This approach deliberately moves away from overloaded dashboards in favor of focused, digestible information.
Through continuous user testing, we discovered strong interest in insights beyond standard financial metrics. This included combining internal financial data with external data sources, such as rent prices, as well as insights related to employee wellbeing. These signals helped founders anticipate issues early—such as the need to adjust salaries or benefits—and identify overhead and subscription costs in relation to team size and departments.
For Shush, I led the complete brand and product design, designed the marketing website and developed the mobile frontend of the app.
